Mariinsky Theatre Got Its Own Repair Shop for the Brass Instruments
| As a part of the state contract, ExpoTone equipped a workshop for repairs and reconstruction of the brass instruments. |
| Special tools for straightening dents (rods and balls made of hard steel, rollers, rods and pliers) were supplied there, |
| as well as tools for soldering of through-holes, |
| Multifunctional machines for metal works (circular saw, gas welder, lathe), |
| tools and accessories for polishing, shelves and cases for storage and other parts necessary for repairs. |
| The theatre owns more than 500 brass instruments and almost all of them are in permanent use. Now the broken down instruments will get the second life without leaving the theatre premises. |
